About Bogus Bros
Bogus grew out of a wholefoods business called Grain in 1971/72 and traded until 1977 when it closed for good. Bogus sold second hand records, as well as books, clothes and such compulsory mid-70s subcultural products as incense and perfumes.
The black and white photo below shows proprietor Roger Hudson outside the shop (which at the time of writing is now trading as a sandwich shop).
All artwork included here is by Tony Cope, other than the shopfront concept art, which is by Baz Ward. All scans sent in by Roger Hudson.
