Aces legend Johnny Pat celebrates sixty years of skiffle and rock n roll at a special event at the Willows Club.

Johnny Pat began his musical career during the skiffle boom of the 1950s with the Aces. After a few line up changes the Aces signed toParlophone during the beat boom era, and released two singles, “Wait Till Tomorrow” and “I Count The Tears”.

The Aces toured the UK and supported both The Beatles and the Rolling Stones. After The Aces, Johnny joined Hull band The Small Four, who were signed to Pye Records, and supported Jimi Hendrix at the Skyline Ballroom in 1967.

For this celebratory event he is joined by some very special guests for a night of skiffle, rock n roll and stories. To mark the occasion three former Rats – Keith “Ched” Cheesman, Jim Simpson and Brian Buttle – will be performing a special set of sixties R n B.
