Following on from the release of the brilliant Fairview Studios compilation “A Perfect Combination”, curator Andy Richardson has put together a live event together with Gary Marks of GJM Promotions, that will see many of the musicians featured on the CD playing live, in some cases for the first time in many years.

The gig takes place at Kardomah 94 on Friday 9th December and sees a reunion for 80s indie kids The Brontes, alongside Loudhailer Electric Company (featuring members of Red Guitars, Dead Fingers Talk and Nazca Nine), Sleeperman (ex The Vets, EGBT and Felt), as well as the likes of Mike Greaves, Ched, Ted Key and many more. Tickets are just £5 and proceeds go to the Stephen Hughes Foundation.

Stephen was a young Hull born school teacher and footballer who died at the age of 23 of the heart condition giant cell myocarditis. The charity set up in his name raises funds for the British Heart Foundation, the Myocarditis Foundation and the Stephen Hughes Foundation Sports Award which helps primary school children participate in sport for social skills and self esteem purposes

The full line up is the Loudhailer Electric Company, Sleeperman, The Brontes, Mike Greaves, Ched, Dave Greaves, Cassie Patton, Ted Key, Martin Peirson & Peter Robinson.
