About

Independent label run by local band Red Guitars, primarily as a vehicle for their own records though the label also put out singles by Poor Howard and Jeremy Kidd (himself a sometime member of both Poor Howard and Red Guitars). Running from 1983 to 1986 when the band signed a major label deal with Virgin, Self Drive was revived in 2007 for a one off retrospective CD of early Red Guitars material.
