Little is known about the Newland French Choir and the only release we are aware of is their 10″ LP, French Songs, which appears to be a privately-pressed LP transferred from tape (presumably from reel-to-reel).
The LP insert confirms that the choir was formed in 1959 by Mademoiselle Andrée Moirod, and were broadcast “on the BBC programmes” in 1960 on at least two occasions – at present we don’t know what these programmes were but presumably this is a reference to a BBC radio programme.
